1. Get your home into shape
The first step in preparing your home for sale is to get it into shape. This means decluttering, depersonalizing, and fixing any problems that may exist. Start by packing up excess belongings and putting them in storage. Remove personal photos and mementos. Fix broken appliances, windows, or light fixtures. Finally, give your home a thorough cleaning. Prospective buyers should be able to imagine themselves living in your home, not feeling like they’re walking into a stranger’s house.
2. Choose the right Realtor
Choosing the right Realtor is crucial ( lucky for you, I have someone in mind that would be perfect! ). Ask about my experience, marketing plans, and fees. If you’ve been wondering about the difference between a Realtor and a real estate agent, both are licensed to sell real estate, but as a Realtor, I am a member of the National Association of Realtors and held to a stricter code of ethics; that being said, this step just got easier - I would be happy to help!

5. Show your home
Now that your home is ready to be shown, it’s time to invite buyers in! This means always keeping it clean and tidy. Finally, make sure the exterior is looking its best. As your Realtor, I can offer tips on getting your home ready to show.
